• next tab is entitled Editor and is designed in order to help you modify the pictures. In here there is a full set of tools to your service, starting from brightness and color editing (like white and color balance and temperature) and a multitude of filters and effects and finishing the wide variety of graphical objects, assigned to assist you in adding the figures to appropriate images (like line, rectangle, text, icons and symbols)
• another tab is Batch Editor. As it is mentioned in the tab title, this functionality is designed to perform the batch modification of several images or photos at once. What features are available here? You may perform a batch conversion of several images to different format (JPG, PNG, BMP or GIF), rename the graphical files according to mask (adding to object name a file date, a photo date or the current actual date). For your comfort the final resulted file names will be displayed in the appropriate text field.

Also on this tab you may apply the defined set of filters to a pack of photos at once or change the opacity value.

• the next function is called Page. Via this feature you may create a combination of several photos and unite it in a single shot. For the user’s choice about 40 different layouts are presented, which you can use according to your selection and preferences. You can perform the same operation manually in Photoshop, but after trying the automatic combination handling in PhotoScape, you wouldn’t want to return to manual setting up a combination of a row of shots
• Combine - the feature similar to Page functionality. By adding several photos to a single composition, you create a single large-scale united image with customized margins, intervals and canvas size. Suitable and useful trick, isn’t it?
• Animated GIF – the functionality, which permits to mix a range of shots into a single dynamic GIF-file. Very handy, if you are going to make a coub or a GIF-avatar for a forum or board comments. Right after creating a GIF, you may perform a preview in the main form, located on the center of the active window. For your convenience you may set the time period and effect for changing the graphical components of the GIF-image
• Print – the convenient setting up of a printing page with miniatures, corresponding to printing the photo-pages on the professional printer. Set the orientation (landscape or portrait), size of each individual photo section, the quantity of miniature photos per page and the size of intervals between them. After that you may begin the printing routine itself.

In PhotoScape there are a few more options, which you can use in daily work. They are Raw Converter, Color Picker, Screen Capture and Splitter functions, but I suggest to try using them personally.

Comparing the working process with free PhotoScape for Windows 8 to other operational systems, the difference is based only on graphical design of the forms in the environment. The Metro interface is always notable thanks to its orbed edges and transparency of the margins. Regarding the functional part, on all Windows systems the program operates absolutely identically.
